What a Fun Weekend!

What an Eventful Weekend~ We had a Football Game/ Drill Team/ Cheer Show, Park, Family Dinners, and a Nice Day at Church!

Logan is so sweet and he's growing up so fast, Lacey and I had a slumber party and we kicked Daddy out, Caden is talking all of the time and he totally cracks us up:)
I really am blessed to be a wife to Greg and a Mother to all of my beautiful Children. What a testimony it is to me to be strong even though when the world is waivering we can make it throught the storms.

What is a Friend?

What is a friend? What is the difference between an acquaintance and a friend? Are having friends necessary? Are friends forever? What do you value in a friend?

People are friends because they either help each other, have fun together, or have the same values. Being a friend is an interdependent relationship. There are degrees of friendship, and many friendships change over time as people change. A friend who shares your values has a better chance of remaining your friend over time. Having friends is important for mental health.

I'm thankful for all of my friends, past, present and new friendships. They have made me the person I am and the person I hope to be. Thank you for touching my life in so many ways!
XOXO ~ Sharla

~ We Miss You Dad, PawPaw, Steve ~

It has been over 1 year since you left us here on this earth. This has been the hardest year of our lives, and I know we won't ever get over it. We miss you so much and the kids miss you terribly. Logan always says he misses his best friend that always played baseball with him, Lacey always says that you are in her heart and she misses you but that she has good dreams knowing you make her feel safe, and Caden always walks up to your pictures. He smiles and points to say PawPaw so sweetly. Holidays and Family functions are never the same, and will never be. You were the Glue that held the Jahnke Family together and we will always remember the life of Integrity, Humility, and Bravery you lived. You always taught us these important principles and really what matters most of this life here on earth...The Testimony we hold dear of Our Savior Jesus Christ, Following the Commandments, the Importance of the Scriptures and Reading them diligently, Family & Personal Prayer, Paying Our Tithing, and Living with Simplicity (Needs Vs. Wants). You were an amazing Father, Grandfather and Friend. We miss and love you with all of our hearts, but know we have peace and comfort knowing that you are not suffering and that we will see you again in Heaven.
